A custom mirror we created as a teaching tool for the non profit "A Day With Ancient Greece". Based on an image in a historic earthenware bowl. Solid bronze mirror size is 6.5" overall size is 9" x 14". Engraving is Aphrodite playing knucklebones with a Satyr. Engraving is from a mirror cover also from an actual historic piece.

A solid bronze replica of the Holcombe Mirror at the British Museum. Dated at 30 to 70 AD. Recreated at a slightly smaller scale. This mirror has the stylized face of a cat on both sides, with jasper gemstones in the eyes. The engraving on the back of the mirror is a stylized face which would watch over and protect the owner.

A bronze mirror we created based on the "Medusa" mirror, ancient Greek circa 500 BC. located at the Getty Museum in California. A very stylized image of Medusa decorates the back, snakes in hair wide mouth with tounge sticking out. The mirror side has engraving around edge as described on the original. We have sculpted it as faithfully as possible. The original was done in two pieces ours is solid cast in one piece. Size is same as original 6". Wooden handle is standard. Olive wood is shown on example. Choice of fully polished or patina.

We have re-created an Egyptian artifact for the front piece. The Cobra is cast in solid bronze, it has gemstone eyes and enamel coloring. The band is bronze with wool padding inside covered with leather. The band ties in the back so as to be adjustable.
