One of our Phoenix knives reworked for a customer to be a short sword. The hilt was expanded wider to fit the 18" flame blade. A dragon is engraved on the blade, green onyx eyes in the Phoenix. The sheath is matching red dymondwood with a bronze inset of a wolf with two lapis lazuli on either side.

The mythical phoenix rises from the flames, its stylized sweeping wings create the hilt with its majestic head for the pommel. The handle acts as a neck and the blade the tail.

This was a custom sword created for a dojo in Chicago. The preying mantis was their logo and they wanted a Thai Chi sword for members incorporating it as a hilt. The green handle is cut and shaped like bamboo. A mantis looks in each direction, every joint and detail is visible in their bodies. The pommel has a disc with Chinese characters, nestled in a grove of bamboo. The sensei's sword had a sphere in the pommel and special characters down the blade. Aprox. 15 swords in all were made made.

Classic styling of a cup hilt rapier. Basket design is a series of rats in a circle facing towards the blade, their tails curled together forming the edge of the basket. Two rats with long tails form the quillons. The pommel has a savage looking rat and it's tail curves down to form the knuckle guard. This hilt is highly decorative and heavy.
