Are you looking for a piece of treasure, fit for the tomb of a king?
This beautiful Egyptian-inspired knife features two cats on either side of the hilt, sculpted with loving detail. Their tails curl around orange carnelian gemstones, and the name of the goddess Bastet is engraved in hieroglyphs above them. The handle is made from field maple (a wood that was available in ancient Egypt) intermixed with layers of resin-stabilized malachite and lapis lazuli. The blade is 7 1/4 inches long and made from cast bronze with a hammered edge. The hilt and pommel and also made from bronze, with a light patina to bring out the sculptural details. Total length of the knife is about 13 3/4 inches long.
