Sometimes called a “celtic brooch” or “cloak brooch,” these penannular-style brooches are a great way to add a bit of decoration to a cloak, kilt, or shawl. We make them out of solid cast bronze, so while they might be a little heavier than you expect, they will last a lifetime.
This one has two acorns with graceful oak leaves on either side. It has a greenish azurite stone set in the pin. Look closely and you will see copper inclusions running through the gemstone, which compliment the bronze metal of the brooch itself. It is about 3 inches in diameter with a 4 inch long pin.
