The bee knife is one of our favorite knives to make! It features a buzzing bee as its hilt and an old-fashioned “skep” beehive as its pommel. We’ve given this one a handle of osage orange wood, which is naturally a honey-like yellow. Gary also made this knife a black leather sheath, which contrasts beautifully with the yellow.
All the fittings are cast bronze. The blade is high-carbon steel and 5 1/2 inches long. The knife itself is 10 1/2 inches long; 11 1/2 inches in the sheath.
