Rowan makes all of our wands by hand with a mixture of hand carving and wood turning. Each one is unique, with no two of our wands ever looking identical.
This wand is made out of blackthorn wood. Blackthorn is a shrub known for both its beautiful spring blossoms and fearsome sharp thorns. It is also traditionally used in the construction of Irish shillelaghs. The end of the handle has a pointy carved “thorn” design. The wand is 12 1/4 inches long.
