This knife was a sculpting collaboration between Gary and Suzy. The hilt is an iris flower in full bloom, its lower petals arching to form the quillons of the hilt. The pommel is an iris bud. For this particular knife, Gary went all-out with leather working. The grip is molded leather over a wooden core, with a petal-shaped design that mimics the shape of the flower. The knife comes with a beautiful matching sheath, which is molded leather over wood with a bronze chape. All the leather has been dyed a vibrant purple. All fittings are solid cast bronze and the blade is carbon steel. The knife is 14 1/4 inches in total length.
