This is a one-of-a-kind piece made by Gary. There will never be another just like it.
This knife has a curved sickle or “boline” style blade. Gary carved the mushroom to resemble a poisonous spotted mushroom. The stem of the mushroom is maple wood, while the mushroom cap is made from naturally red-colored cherry wood and inlaid with tiny white maple spots. A bronze bolster is fitted between the blade and mushroom cap. The handle is surprisingly comfortable to hold.
The blade is carbon steel and about 6 inches long. The total length of the knife is 10 1/2 inches.
