The base of this incense burner is a coiling snake, arching its head up to peer over the side of the bowl. Rowan hand-forged the bowl from copper. The bowl has an organic rough hammered finish and a small indentation in the bottom that helps it fit snugly into the base. The base is solid cast bronze. It is approximately 3 1/2 inches high.
Our incense burners are designed to be used with cone incense or loose incense. We suggest using sand in the base of the bowl to keep your heat source from heating up the base of the bowl directly. Obviously, caution should be used whenever you are burning incense, and you should never leaver your incense burner unattended. The copper bowl can be removed from the burner for easy cleaning.
