This wand is made from yew wood. Yew trees have long been associated with death and rebirth, and have been symbolically planted in graveyards for centuries. The wood of this wand is naturally a vibrant orange color, with subtle cream-colored streaks. Since yew is associated with death, we obviously had to put a small bronze skull on the end. There is a black spacer made from ebony wood between the skull and yew. The skull adds a bit of weight to what is otherwise quite a light wand.
