Gary made this piece for a collector, based on the design of traditional Assyrian knives. The handle was hand carved from synthetic ivory. The sheath was hand sculpted and cast in bronze. All the bronze fittings and sheath were plated in 24k gold, and the piece was adorned with 50 individual gemstones of lapis, garnet and citrine.
