Paleolithic Goddess Sculpture

An image of a wooden sculpture of a round and featureless female figure laying flat next to its plinth. This image shows that the sculpture detaches from the plinth.

This sculpture was a custom order from a client who wanted something similar to one of Rowan’s wooden goddess pendants but larger. It was carved from vibrant cherry wood and had a detachable base. It is based on a combination of elements from different archaeological finds of figurines from the Upper Paleolithic in Eurasia.
