Description
This charming bronze sickle features a curved bronze blade with a sculpted relief design of a bumblebee and flower. The handle is made from carved from highly-figured apple wood, which we harvested from our own apple tree. Gary made a beautiful brown leather sheath for this sickle, with a tiny leather toggle shaped like a sunflower. This is a one-of-a-kind piece that we do not have a mold for, so there will never be another one exactly like it.
The sickle is about 11 1/2 inches long at its longest measurement. Blade is made from bronze and hand-hammered to a medium sharpness.
